My husband had an angiogram at the Cath Lab in St. Joseph's hospital. It went fine, everyone was very helpful and professional. He was discharged that afternoon. However, the next morning, his right groin started swelling and we called 911 and he was admitted to the ER at St. Joseph's. We spent most of the day in the ER getting tests, being observed and assessed. What we noticed that day was an efficient staff in a very busy ER. The nurse who took care of my husband, Erin, was very knowledgeable and professional. I have never seen so much hand washing for which we were very grateful. She did a super job, not only individually, but as a team member. Erin was heroic in her efforts to put a catheter in my husband. The bleeding was able to be stopped without surgery and my husband was discharged the next day. Our overall impression of St. Joseph's was very positive. We feel lucky to have such a wonderful facility to rely on. Thank you!
