I am writing you to let you know about an experience we had on a flight that involved Beau Lee. I am a flight attendant with Alaska Airlines and we were flying from Fort Lauderdale to Seattle. About two hours into the flight, one of our passengers came forward and said she was feeling slightly faint and was not breathing very well. I immediately called over the intercom to request a doctor to come to the front of the plane. Beau was the first person to respond and came forward to assess the situation. He started talking to the woman and asked her several questions. We put her on oxygen and Beau stayed with the woman until she was stable. He went above and beyond the call of duty. He was professional and had a very calming presence. The woman responded very well to Beau and calmed down quite a bit.
Just before Beau was about to take his seat, another passenger started complaining about her breathing. It appeared that she was having an asthma attack. Beau immediately responded to the situation. We proceeded to put her on oxygen and Beau stayed with the woman and continued to monitor her situation. He spent over half of his flight assisting both women. Fortunately, both women were stabilized, and I know in a large part it was due to Beau's actions. He was completely selfless and he cared about the health of these passengers. I wish he could be on every one of my flights. I asked Beau if there was someone I could reach out to so I could tell them about his service and that is how I got your email.
