In a sea of very talented nurses, 5 North RN Bethany Schwartz's principles and traits were a bright light. I immediately recognized her potential and as she was doing her job I took the time to talk to her about her job. It was not the time she spent at LGH that impressed me but how Bethany was calm yet very focused about what she does. In fact, as other staff would enter the room, it was easy to see that she draws the respect of her peers…the best accreditation possible.
Bethany is a sensitive, informed nurse that has the intangible features that shine brightly and will ring the bells of LGH. She is committed to her job and proud of her accomplishments. Through her efforts, she lifts the bar of quality care, resulting in fewer readmissions and sincere heartfelt thanks for the care they received at LGH.
