I was very afraid when my husband's doctor told me he moved his practice to HCA Medical Center. I wanted to change doctors but my husband wanted to follow his cardiologist. Anne was the first person I saw when we made it to the cath lab. She talked to my husband about her hometown, explained the procedure and was a gentle giant. She promised my husband she would not leave his side. He told me when he woke up Anne was the first person he saw. She stayed by his side and made the procedure enjoyable. My husband had to stay overnight. At 6am in the morning Anne was at my husband bedside. She promised him she would check on him the next day. Anne was truly my husband's Florence Nightingale. She is compassionate, funny, honest and most importantly made my husband and me feel like we were the most important patients in the cath lab. She never rushed. Her voice was so calm. Anne was our DAISY for a day. If it is not asking too much, I would like to let her know we appreciated all she did for both of us during my husband's hospital stay.
