Saturday was the wedding day of the middle son of an ICU patient. She was admitted to Greene County General Hospital in the ICU with high CO2 levels and infections in her lungs. Needless to say, she would not be attending the wedding. Susan generously offered to help the patient watch her son's wedding via FaceTime on her iPad. Through shared technology we were able to connect the patient to the wedding as it took place; family, bridesmaids, groomsmen gave her messages of encouragement and the patient was able to see the entire wedding through the vows to the kiss. Susan turned the disappointment of missing the wedding to tolerable by providing a way for her patient to attend. Thank you, Susan O'Neall, for being a wonderful caring nurse.
