My entire family and I have so many good things to say about Natalie. She was always going above and beyond to make sure that my family member's care was the very best. As my family member progressed, Natalie made sure to get her out of bed and into her recliner. She would also put her thru her PT paces whenever possible. There are so many little things that Natalie did for our family member.
*****
Natalie is an amazing and gracious nurse. My sister had a brain aneurysm and was helicoptered to Tulane. She was there for five long weeks and received the best of care by all the doctors, nurses, and therapists, but Natalie really stands out in my mind. She went above and beyond her call of duty. She worked hard with my sister and some days she'd get good responses and sometimes no response, but she never gave up.
Natalie was always professional and kind. I asked her one day to come home with us that we were going to need her, but she politely turned down the offer. She treated my sister well, and she explained to us the different things that were going on with my sister's care in layman's terms. We thank God we were able to have Natalie as my sister's nurse and we think of her a lot. Thank you for letting me express my deep appreciation for the fine work that Natalie does at Tulane Medical Center.

My sister was a patient at the Neuro ICU unit at Tulane. The doctors, nurses, and staff were excellent and were so very kind and helpful to us while my sister was there, but Natalie really stood out. It was Natalie's unwavering optimism and enthusiasm that helped us through this trying time. When she entered my sister's room, it was like a jolt of energy. She always directly interacted with my sister and came up with innovative and creative ways to get her to use her brain and exercise physically. At the same time, she was always aware of what we were going through and provided honest answers to our many questions. I remember once she gave my sister a kiss on the forehead and a quick hug. This is a young woman who loves her work and does it with professionalism and compassion. Natalie is a true DAISY Nurse!
