I could write a whole essay about the wonderful qualities our nurse Tyler has. I'm pretty sure anyone who has had the opportunity of either working with him or being taken care from him would agree with me. I won't lie, this past week was really hard for me and I've shed many tears, some of the physical pain and others because of emotional pain, but yesterday something extraordinary happened. I met Tyler for the first time and even though he's so young he was able to change my mind within minutes. He told me; "Whatever happened before, that's in the past, let's make this day great and get you better!" He wasn't lying. He knew about how miserable my pain had been for these past few days, so he kept on time with all my medications, especially the pain ones. He turned a stormy morning into a sunshine afternoon, literally.
Today, I was so blessed to have him again as my nurse that I'm smiling while writing this nomination. You have an awesome team of nurses here. Tyler not only took wonderful care of me, he listened to me when I told him about some of the hard times I've had this week. I firmly believe that he has so many amazing, wonderful, good qualities that I could write an essay about them because each one has a huge impact on the people blessed to be next to him. He is very humble and most deserving of this honor. Tyler is an important part of your very wonderful team.
