To contribute in an obviously limited way to the approval of a possibly life-changing drug that could reduce or eliminate our son's hardest to bare symptom of Prader-Willi syndrome, insatiable hunger, he agreed to participate in a drug trial at Rady Children's even though we all work and live in Orange County.
Rachel has made each visit, especially the all-day visits, very pleasant with her very upbeat enthusiasm and by keeping us well-informed of what is happening and what will happen every step of the way. Rachel is in that group of nurses whose dedication and engagement with patients (and visitors) is obvious from the outset. We are very grateful that Rachel is there to receive us at each visit and to carry our spirits through to the conclusion of each day.
We are also very appreciative that Rachel has also gone beyond what is entailed in our visits to also provide us with information about other drug trials, one that will begin soon much closer to home.
Thanks Rachel!
