I had a good experience with Nurse Stephen Gartner during my stay at John Muir Walnut Creek Medical Center. From the get-go, Steve was attentive, caring, and patient with my needs. He consistently provided excellent care. Steve's down to earth demeanor helped to calm me. His thoughtfulness and attention to detail went beyond what was expected. Being a male nurse was comforting to me especially during shower time. Steve is a hard-working professional. He was constantly being called on the loudspeaker to provide some assistance to other patients. There was never a downtime for Steve. I have a feeling that he would even work or cut short his lunch break to help his patient. Steve is one of a kind. I have never met a nurse who was so dedicated and caring. He emulates what the perfect nurse should be. He is truly a shining example of good patient care and a caring attitude. He is an asset to JMH. Kudos to Steve for a job well done.
