Ken was the day nurse for my father-in-law on many occasions. My dad lit up when Ken created a super shake which included a great punch of calories my dad needed. His attention to detail and ability to make a connection to patients and families is easily seen just by watching him. Ken was attentive and reached out to doctors to ensure the best care was provided to dad. Ken's bedside manner was calm, gentle, and firm as needed. He explained the importance of each medicine to dad was a fantastic liaison when doctors didn't have a great bedside manner. Ken is a true DAISY Nurse. Hospital stays would be more tolerable with great nurses like him. Thanks, Ken!!

Ken is an excellent example of someone who provides care and compassion in serving his patients and coordinating care with multiple services. He took care of my father on multiple occasions, was always compassionate and caring, patient and kind, and was active in pursuing all available information to be able to provide the best care and share information as soon as it came to light. Given Dad's complex condition and multiple medical services, Ken was an exceptional care advocate to make sure all services were kept abreast of changes and care plans were updated quickly.
