I was a surgery patient at Baystate Medical Center. I experienced the "challenge of my life" after my surgery and the only reason I made it to see the sun dawn was one of your nurses named Kera Tanguay.
Kera encouraged me through the pain! She repeated again and again, "You can do this, you will get through the pain." In all the time I have been alive I have never received the compassionate care and unbelievable support I felt from Kera. To say she saved my life that night is not an overstatement or exaggeration! My recovery that evening was more than a challenge and Kera made more than a significant contribution to my pulling through.
I have no words powerful enough to convey the care and encouragement she showed me! Kera is my guardian angel. It was a life-changing experience for me, and I will never forget that young lady. So... thank you, thank you, thank you!
