Ramon Rueda is the most compassionate nurse the Cath Lab patient has ever encountered. His care was extraordinary. The patient described how Ramon was very concerned when her blood pressure kept fluctuating up and down. Ramon frequently checked on the patient to make sure she was okay. He was very respectful of the patient and her daughter who was by the patient's side for over seven hours during recovery. The patient was very grateful to have Ramon answer her call light promptly, with a smile, and with kind words of encouragement. She exclaimed that a nurse like Ramon would make any patient's hospital visit very comfortable, and considering the situation, a great experience. Because of Ramon, the patient said she will recommend Kaiser Sunset Los Angeles Medical Center to all of her family and friends. The patient also stated that she could tell Ramon truly cared about her, and was genuinely attentive to her needs during the entire recovery. Additionally, before Ramon even went on his break, he saw the patient to see if there was anything needed. He also informed the patient of when to expect his return. All this Ramon did with a big smile on his face.
The patient believes that nurses who makes a difference in other people's lives should know how grateful their patients are. She wanted to let Ramon know how much she appreciated his love and care. Initially, she was scared to have the procedure, but with a nurse like Ramon, her fears subsided. He truly is a great and genuinely caring nurse. Kaiser Permanente, Los Angeles Medical Center, is very fortunate to have him as part of their staff.
