I was sitting at my mother's bedside , crying and feeling overwhelmed. Nurse Anthony Flaherty walked by and saw me. Even though he wasn't assigned to my mother, he took the time to talk to me. He offered reassurance, kind words and a much needed hug. His kindness meant so much .
