My Mother has been in ICU since Christmas Eve and it has been a very stressful time for my family. There have been many questions and sleepless nights for us all. Although I am a hospital employee, there were many things I did not know regarding my Mother's healthcare. There were many medical terms and words that my family needed more clarification to understand regarding my Mother's existing critical health matters.
Misty was the most caring and interactive professional that linked understanding of her health situation for my family. She was very respectful, kind and an extremely professional RN. She showed empathy and she had a sensitive touch. I felt that she treated my Mother as though she was her own and it truly made my Mother relax and feel more comfortable with her critical hospital stay.
Misty helped me gain understanding and how the plan of care was to be implemented. Knowing that she received such premiere care has eased some of the significant stress I have been under. I love my employment and it made me very proud to interact with a nurse who truly understands that the healthcare professional needs care concern when adversity strikes within their own family.
