Jo was extremely sensitive and in-tune to my daughter's needs after she woke up from her surgery. She went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and content. My daughter was so scared of moving her injured arm, but Jo lightened the mood by getting on her level, listening to her and talking her through her concerns. She is a prime example of a wonderful nurse and deserves the best in return.

As I entered my mother's room I heard the sweetest voice. The nurse did not realize that I had entered the work area, I observed Jo bent over the bed encouraging and caring for my mother who has Alzheimer's. I stood there listening and watching, knowing that she had many other patients to care for but watched her take time to do the little things- like mouth care and positioning to make sure my mother was comfortable. Jo truly demonstrated kindness and compassion and an intense focus for making sure all of my mother's needs were taken care of.
