Judy has been a night shift nurse at GHS for 44 years. She is now retiring June 21, 2018. She is a knowledgeable, skilled, and compassionate nurse. Her many years of experience have impacted the lives of too many patients to count. She provides excellent quality care to each and every patient. She is attentive to detail and her work is thorough and accurate. She has been a resource person for so many nurses on the unit. She is a great preceptor and is eager to teach and impart knowledge to her orientees. She has excelled in many areas including attendance, time management, and flexibility. She has served on committees and worked on PI projects. She is always looking for ways to improve patient care. Judy encourages all her coworkers to perform at her level. Teamwork and collaboration have been the mainstays of her career. I have worked with many nurses over my 32 years and I can honestly say Judy is the best nurse I have ever worked with. Her presence and care on the unit will be missed and her shoes hard to fill. I am proud to call her a team member on my unit. She has had many recognitions by staff, patients, families, etc. over the years and has always remained humble and kind. She will be greatly missed.
