When my daughter was in labor for an unknown pregnancy, Danielle Raymond was not just her nurse. I, mom, couldn't hear my phone and didn't know there was an emergency. My frightened daughter was alone, but not really. You see, Danielle stepped in and saw the need and became her friend/support person. My daughter chose to place her baby for adoption, and what empathy and compassion Danielle displayed.
The story continues with my daughter needing surgery and Danielle offered strength and support. A potentially miserable experience was definitely altered by her caring and giving behavior. Danielle was supposed to be off the night of the surgery. She was asked if she would please work that night, specifically to be there with my daughter. Her response was yes! What a blessing.
A potential adoptive family was chosen and they arrived. Danielle's help, care, support and downright protectiveness of my daughter's rights and feelings is immeasurable. She was with us for 13 hours with the adoptive family, agency, baby and us. She's absolutely irreplaceable. What could be a sorrow filled situation has truly been a blessing for all involved. If not for Danielle, I don't think the outcome would be the same. Please continue to bless and appreciate this loving woman.
