This morning, my brother's life was saved by Nicole Filipone. My brother went into cardiac arrest while driving home from work this morning and ran his car into a house. Nicole was on her way to work, witnessed the accident and was able to provide lifesaving CPR to him until the paramedics arrived. My brother has a congenital heart defect which contributed to this tragic event. Without Nicole's quick action, his outcome would have been far worse, and my four-year-old niece would be without her daddy.
Nicole also took the time to meet with our family and let us know what she witnessed in the details of the morning's events. I know there is nothing I can do or say that would amount to what she has done for my family. She has been our family's angel. Thank you for helping me honor her.
