Ryann was nominated by a family of a patient who was very thankful they had Ryann as their nurse to their granddaughter/daughter. My granddaughter was told her cancer had spread to her lungs, at this time the family wasn't with her but our "Angel", Ryann came rushing into our granddaughter's room with tissues and put her arm around her to comfort her, and gave words of hope and encouragement. She always said things like "we can do this together" or "you aren't alone." Ryann would do anything for a patient at any time if you need a glass of water or you wanted to shower at 2:00 am she was there with no questions and always with a smile.
Ryann always puts her patients first and is great about putting herself in a situation a patient may be in. The positivity and encouragement she brings into the room are so helpful when going through hard times. She does whatever is asked of her with a smile and without complaint. Ryann just knows what it takes to be a great nurse and puts all her efforts towards that.
