Another Praise Report on the quality of folks you have working alongside you. Last week I had my 4th defibrillator replacement in 21 years. Dr. M is an amazing human being, but even with that said I have to tip my hat to a young man by the name of Lander DeSousa in the Cath Lab.
Please keep in mind I arrived at day surgery at 7:30 AM and did not roll into the cath lab until after 7 PM. No food, no sleep the night before (nervous) on a gurney that was killing my back. Nobody can be faulted for the unforeseen emergencies that would preempt my surgery so long.
The cath lab typically closes at 4. It closed after 10:30 that night. Lander was so graciously kind and was the first one to step forward to stay until I fully recovered. Of anyone I have ever dealt with at the hospital, no one has ever been both professional and just a real person who read right through my fear and anxiety and was so kind. Thank you for all you do and thank you for always letting me have a "voice" in regard to the care I receive there. Blessings.
