Tracy Konopacki is an Extraordinary Nurse; her compassion for individuals matches her expertise. She is easy to work with among other nurses and a delight to your patients in your care. I am extremely grateful when paired with her because she cares for people and helps curve the anxiety of receiving treatment.
I have metastatic cancer; diagnosed in Feb 2018. I was shocked. Tracy counseled me on what to expect and also faithfully projected my needs since day 1. She sees the whole picture and her soft delivery makes it easy to listen and follow/trust her. I understand that some people can be hard to work with, however, Mrs. Konopacki has the skill to defuse and comfort the soul. It truly is remarkable the way her colleagues and patients in your care find the faith to endure things we don't really want. She guides the anxious with truth and encouragement, having a good word in times of trouble really provides hope against losing all hope.
Her fellow nurses respect her and she respects them. I have witnessed her balancing several duties with perspective, always being helpful, without putting people off for any length of time- patient or staff. She has never forgotten to ensure I eat lunch when I am in her care. It's amazing how alert she is with duties within the Advanced Med center.
Receiving treatment for more than a year, there have been patients with nurses who are new, or not as experienced, and I have witnessed episodes of anxious patients or staff not able to accomplish a duty/procedure. Many ask for assistance and I witness her move in to help. She has a way about her that is easy and simple, solving problems or just being positive support. Her way of administering medical needs is accurate and effective. I have never suffered her failing to get labs, hanging the medical drips, or omitting personal needs (food and water). She always is able to put a good word in when the whole world seems in disarray. I am more hopeful when paired up with her than any other nurse. She truly is more than extraordinary with her work and attitude.
What brings me to nominate her above all the rest is her heart. Though she has never said how difficult her personal life is, she faithfully provides a warm, soft personality while she works for you. I have witnessed that she is able to handle people in all kinds of needs while keeping a hope that surpasses our angst. This compassion is not displayed in many individuals in the world, in my opinion, it would be a disservice to you not to mention how amazing it is when she is the only one desiring to really fight with you while you are fighting to live.
