Teanna Greenlea is our shining star!!!! This lady is our star of the month. No question about it. This hospital is blessed in so many ways to be granted with her presence. And I bet every doctor she works with will say so too.
As Dr. H finalized that my heart, still at 8%, won't get any better, I was devastated, numb, scared and felt alone and demolished. Not for long. Ms. Teanna grabbed my hand and uplifted me. She took me to a whole different center of life and strength. She went above and beyond the call of duty as a nurse. As I thought the breath had left my body she somehow managed to use her superpower as a nurse with a flying cape and gave it back to me. She encouraged me not to give up and talked to me with some magical words that empowered me to gain even more strength then I had before. She instilled unconditional love and an excellent bedside manner and pulled me out of this dark place I was in. Suddenly I had a new strength and my life to fight for (again). I almost died 4/5 times at this facility and once at Huntley. The most heartwarming thing is her compassion is real.
She is a professional and great to her co-workers and wonderful to all patients. Her aura fills a room. She's always smiling and never complains. She took her lunchtime to help me investigate and find information and doctors and procedures that are extreme but make me a candidate for a procedure that will give me a longer lifespan. She gave am hope and a wish and a new path and journey to explore so I can be around for my ill mom and new grandbabies. She is truly my angel on earth and I wish everyone has an excellent nurse like Teanna Greenlea.
