Elaine is what I call a genuine, caring, compassionate, sweet, knowledgeable, and sympathetic woman and nurse. I have been a patient many times at MCR and PVH, not to mention the numerous times family members, especially my mother, have been patients here. I have been touched by so many wonderful nurses.
In fact, I have two daughters that are extraordinary nurses. For me, this hospital stay was a little different than previous ones. I was feeling frustrated and down because I felt like I may be a burden to some of the staff. I felt unheard, but Elaine realized that patients should not feel this way. This wonderful nurse took so much time in her busy day to sit down and really listen to my concerns. I feel she had a real caring heart! As she took the time to really try to get my concerns resolved, Elaine showed me what a special nurse she is. She also provided me with extraordinary care in all aspects.
