Choolo has proven to be an asset to Seton and its patients. I am a patient here - having had numerous nurses checking on me and caring for me. Choolo has a sense of structure and attentiveness as she conducts her rounds. In her dealings with me and my care, I've noticed a difference in how she tends to me. She is thorough. She asks questions, she offers her assistance, she checks in routinely and is cheerful, kind and confident in the way she conducts herself.
She takes the time to listen and provide insight or feedback. Choolo's bedside manner is genuine and comforting. I don't feel embarrassed around her. Not everyone can possess a manner such as this. She's attentive and knowledgeable and was/is thorough with the shift change information. I observed her interaction with her counterparts and see she is a mentor and leader. She's really a quality nurse and I would gladly like to be in or under her care in the future.
