Laura has always been a mentor in our unit. Not only to me, but she guides us all. When I see that Laura is scheduled to work on shifts when I am here, I am so relieved. Laura is kind, caring, and compassionate, but can be stern with disruptive patients. We all love listening to Laura's old nursing stories. She can make us all laugh, no matter what the day brought. Despite efforts to distribute "Champion" roles between the staff, Laura is the Champion for almost every committee. She is one of the few nurses that care so greatly for the cause we are all here to help. She is a true angel and should be the poster person for nursing and "a work of HEART." Laura, we love you.

Laura is absolutely amazing. I always feel the day will be great because she's here. She is always so helpful and will feel bad when she can't help, even when she is already helping someone else. She's full of knowledge and is the best nurse ever!

Laura is so compassionate when it comes to her co-workers and her patients. No matter what, she is there to help. You can find her running around the unit, never stopping. She is a huge advocate for safety and runs our fall prevention team. Without her, our care would be less (way less). I appreciate you, Laura.
