Our baby was less than 12 hours old and was transferred here to Children's Hospital. As first-time parents, we were already nervous and then to hear our precious baby girl needed a specialty hospital was heart-wrenching. My wife was not able to come with our daughter and I knew my wife was in good hands, but my precious daughter was going to the "unknown". I wasn't sure what to expect or what was going to happen. Once we arrived and made it to the NICU floor there was my precious little baby girl and there was Jeanne. I instantly felt her compassion for her profession and especially for my little girl and myself. Her professionalism, compassion, and expertise were quickly recognized, and I knew my baby girl was not only in God's hands, but she was also in this nurse's hands. Jeanne explained everything to me and made sure I fully understood. Her reassuring smile lifted worries from my heart and her calm nature told me everything would be fine. She was extra special, to say the least. She was God sent from heaven and I thank God she was the nurse who "set the tone" for my precious baby's hospital stay. Please thank her for me and thank her for my family and my baby girl. We will always be grateful for everything she did for us.
