Amy is an outstanding NP. She is passionate about superior patient care. Working with some the sickest of patients seen in the USA Health System, she is often confronted with complex social and economic barriers but always seeks out avenues for the patients to have access to what they need. She goes above and beyond what is expected of an NP. Amy's pet peeve is an accurate medication list and she advocates for the patients by means of educating Residents, Fellows, Attendings, medical students, or anyone requiring education on the patient's behalf. As we all know, medication errors cause harm and Amy will do whatever it takes to prevent such an event. I sure hope if I am ever a patient, I have her involved in my care as she practices patient-centered, evidence-based care. Thank you, Amy, for all you do for the patients.
