My mother who recently lost her battle with cancer was a frequent patient. Over the last 5 years, Tricia has taken care of my mother many times and is always knowledgeable, efficient, caring, and compassionate. During her last admission, my mother was transferred to inpatient hospice and Tricia was the charge nurse. She was very organized and made sure the transition went smoothly. Her kindness and sympathy to us and my mother will never be forgotten. She was able to make us feel more comfortable by explaining what was going on in a way we could understand. She hugged my sister and me, we shed tears together, and then she went and said goodbye to my dying mother and kissed her on the head. This was truly a precious moment. Tricia is an excellent example of what nursing should look like!
