Chazelle always goes above and beyond to care for her patients and visitors. She recently saw a visitor trying to buy lunch. When her credit card was rejected, Chazelle paid for their lunch. Chazelle doesn't see herself as "special" or "going out of her way for others". She thinks that everyone is just as caring and engaged as she is. Most recently, Chazelle had a patient in CDU that stayed for several days. She took the time to really get to know the patient and listened, really listened to her concerns. The patient was afraid to leave the hospital and did not have food at her home. Chazelle not only helped her feel confident about going home, but she also went to the store and purchased groceries for this patient so that she would not go hungry. Chazelle does these types of things all the time. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
