I have had the privilege of working with Clarisse for over six years. She covers many different clinics and is efficient working in all of them as a float nurse. Clarisse brings a smile and a positive attitude wherever she works. When she covers an area, things are done: doctors know she has it under control, messages are answered, patients feel secure in her care and as well as listened to. Clarisse isn't one to leave work for the next person; she wants to leave at the end of the day knowing everything is complete for the next nurse. Examples of Clarisse going over and above: if the area she is working is slow, or there is time between patients, she will go to another area that she knows could use her help. If she sees someone in need in the hallway, or in the parking lot, she will take the time to assist them as needed. Whether she is working or not, she will take the time. It is hard to go to a different area to cover and cover it well, but she does it. I always enjoy working with Clarisse, she is a great example of an exceptional nurse. She will say "I'm just doing my job". Yes maybe so, but it is the way she does it! With the love and dedication of a nurse who is doing it because she loves what she does.
