Although the care given to my husband when he passed away was exceptional by literally all the other nurses and caregivers in the ICU, Michael went beyond what anyone could expect to receive. His compassion, gentle care and even humor (how my family tries to get through troubling times) were in abundance every minute of his time spent with us.
He explained every procedure patiently, even when he had to repeat or clarify it for the hundredth time. He took care of small matters such as making sure we had water, not only for my husband, but all of us.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful Michael was. He surely helped us get through the worst situation anyone would have to endure.
