Kipp always goes above and beyond not only for her patients but also for her staff as well. At the end of the day you're always given a thank you for the work you have done. I have had to transition in my life to caring for an elderly parent and she has never placed me in a position to feel that I was neglecting my job. She puts patients first. She has been a constant role model not only for patient family care, but also is an advocate for the nursing profession. When my sister became ill, she made sure that if I needed to take care of my family I was not to worry about covering my shift. She reassured me that taking care of my family was priority. By her example it is easy to reciprocate to her, my patients, family and coworkers. This is also how she expects for staff to care for patients and families as well.
