My husband was recently diagnosed with MDS (Myelodysplastic Syndrome) and the prognosis was not good (5-12 months). His desire was to see his mother before his condition worsened and he couldn't travel from Ohio to Houston to see her. He finished his first round of chemo and the next week we headed to Houston. He did well the first 3 days, on the 4th day, he developed a high fever (103.7) so I brought him to your hospital. Everyone we encountered at Methodist was superior but Monique was above and beyond. She is very personable, positive and supportive. She made us feel special. Her nursing skills were outstanding and she always answered all of our questions. She is definitely an asset to Methodist Hospital. Thank you for treating us like family!
