Tom has a great demeanor with patients in the lab and as a nurse preceptor/trainer. His confidence and calm personality help new nurses stay calm and gain their own confidence as they learn their new job and skills in the Alliance Lab. Also, Tom is great at "chit-chat" with lab patients and puts them at ease; especially if/when they are experiencing anxiety.

Tom has been taking care of my husband in blood draw on the first floor and sixth floor. He has made it easier for us in these difficult times. His kindness and compassion for others is so apparent in the way he treats his clients and their loved ones. He has given me a shoulder to cry on with his heart. Always kind with a big smile on his face, it's so apparent that he loves his job. He is a ray of sunshine in a very dark place. My husband and I are very grateful to have such a caring soul taking care of us. Thank you Tom.

Tom brings a smile and great attitude with him every day. He does not turn down extra projects to work on. He is now getting involved in CPI work as well, in regards to his managing our part of the 6th floor patient drawn labs.

He is absolutely wonderful with children. He knows how to engage them and help allay their fears. He has fun with them and is a natural with his interactions with them.
