Cindy has worked at Saint John's Hospital/SVARH for over 25 years. She is very dedicated to our hospital and its mission and exhibits that every day she works.

Cindy has a lot of stress in her life right now but somehow she leaves it all behind when she comes to work and takes excellent care of her patients. She not only handles the stress that comes with working in our unit with ease, she is right there when you need her help. I am always comforted to know she will be working with me because I know I have her help, if I need it.

We had a code recently and I was so impressed with the compassion Cindy exhibited toward the son of the man that was dying. This was not Cindy's patient that coded and died. She had never taken care of the patient and did not know the family. During the code while I watched her providing support to the son of the man that coded, I thought Cindy knew the gentleman. I can't put in to words the kindness and caring comfort she provided to this man. I was impressed and proud that she was there with the son while we were trying to save his dad's life.
