Letter written by patient:
Michelle Moore went far beyond her call on June 22, 2013. On the morning of the 22nd, she came into my room and saw that I had been crying. I was hurting so bad at the moment and Michelle comforted me. No stranger has ever been so nice. My mother had not come to see my son after 2 days and Michelle gave it to me straight. She made me feel so much better. After her shift was over she presented me with a gift. A beautiful journal so I can journal my feelings, write prayers and my hopes and dreams for my baby. This is one of the sweetest things anyone has ever done for me. A stranger who took the time to listen to one mother's troubles and hurts forever changed my life. I will never forget her. In a time of hurting, one nurse took the time to care for me, not only medically, but mentally too. She lifted my spirits up.
