...I was so impressed by not only the quality of clinical care that was delivered by Julia, RN - but also by the depth of her kindness and compassion. For me, this was really over the top nursing care. Julia was prompt in her response and always explained what she was doing, or why a medication was ordered, but additionally she took the time to listen to me and demonstrating that she truly cared for me. All the nurses on 5C are really compassionate nurses. What really put Julia over the top was the fact that I had lost my wedding ring while I was on 5C. When Julia came into the room and I told her what had happened, she was relentless in finding my ring. She took ownership for finding it - though it was my fault for losing it, as I had taken it off. It is apparent that Julia is well along in her pregnancy, yet she crawled down on the floor, under my bed to look for my wedding ring. She found it! My wife and I have been married for 54 years and we both would have been devastated if anything happened to this ring. For Julia - this was just one more way she demonstrated her care and compassion for me - her patient. Thank you Julia! You are a Godsend!
