... Two patients asked that Megan be recognized for going beyond expectations when she cared for them during her shift. The patients reported that in addition to the prompt service and her caring spirit, she took the time to clean their bathrooms during the night when it was needed. They said that they felt special because a charge nurse took the time to clean when they thought she could have easily gotten someone else to complete this task. They both reported that she was their special angel that watched over them during the night, and made them feel safe and cared for. They said that all hospitals need nurses like her, and that her thoughtfulness and kindness will never be forgotten.

I hear these same type comments above from numerous patients she provides care for. She provides excellent care each night she works and is one that is also a resource for her co-workers and help to coach and mentor them in ways to meet and exceed patient's expectations.
