Rose was such a dear friend and a support for my grandmother and family. I flew in on Wednesday - my grandmother was admitted for a serious infection. I stayed for many days and Rose became my rock. She was the daytime shift nurse and was so wonderful.
I am a combat PTSD Veteran and my grandmother raised me. Times like this are hard on me. Rose (without knowing my status) cared and answered questions when I asked. She took gentle care to learn my grandmother's special little routines. She cared for all as if we were part of her family. She is such a calming experienced nurse. I told her my grandmother was afraid of the shot and so she shared her personal experience and related to my grandmother and made her feel safe and comforted.
My appreciation, love and caring cannot be expressed in words. Rose is amazing and as I have to leave, I know Rose will be here and we will be okay.
