Our family wishes to express our heartfelt appreciation for the kindness and excellent care of my wife received during her most recent hospitalization at Halifax Health Medical Center in the ICU by Nurse Lisa Fogell. Nurse Lisa Fogell was very diligent in reviewing my wife's chart and explained to my wife how urgent it was that she start dialysis treatment because her kidneys were not functioning at the level that they should be. My wife had a lot of apprehension and anxiety about dialysis due to the fact that her mother recently passed away from kidney failure. Your medical staff all worked together as a team to assure and encouraged her to move forward to get the temporary shunt for the dialysis treatment and as a result my wife is now able to enjoy a better quality of life.
Your kindness and professionalism went far and beyond any of our expectations. You are all now part of our extended family for the investment you made in savings my wife's life. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
