Nikki should be recognized for her compassion, hard work, and dedication. Nikki positively impacts the lives of her patients by expressing a genuine concern for their emotional and physical well-being. I looked forward to seeing Nikki every day, and felt very lucky to have her caring for me. She brought a smile to my face during a very challenging time in my recovery.

Every day, Nikki worked hard to care for all of her patients in a way that it was evident that each one was important to her. Despite seeing how busy she was, I never once felt like I couldn't ask her for something, including help with the simplest of things, or even a cup of ice when I needed one. Every aspect of patient care is important to Nikki, and she makes herself available to her patients no matter how busy she is.

The one thing that makes or breaks a hospital stay is the care a patient receives from the staff. I can't begin to thank Nikki enough for making my stay a positive experience and for making me feel truly cared for at such a vulnerable time. Even when I didn't need anything, Nikki made it a point to take the time to check on me regularly to make sure that I was doing okay. It's the little things that make all the difference, and Nikki goes above and beyond to make sure that she's attentive not only to the big things, but the little things as well.
