Megan is our Nursing Manager for Children's Home Care. She is an exemplary model in everything she does; she works tirelessly every day to manage the Skilled Nursing department by constantly going out of her way to ensure that her nurses are properly equipped with everything they need in order to provide outstanding care for our patients.
Megan brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our department; she is resilient and extremely dedicated to bring her work to completion in her daily tasks. When I was hired to this department, Megan was very instrumental in helping with my orientation, she took time to explain in details the intricacies of my job, she wrote down the steps for me and comprised a note book with all the tools I needed. She did all of this, and through it, she demonstrated patience and kindness. Megan oriented six more nurses to their job since I came on, and often she accompanied her nurses in supervisory visits to ensure success and patient/family satisfaction.
She works late hours demonstrating consistent support and dedication, nurturing her nurses on the path of excellence. Daily she talks to the families of our patients advocating for their needs, encouraging them and instructing them in order to prevent and avert unnecessary visits to ER.
It has been a pleasure to work alongside Megan, I personally learned a lot from her! On behalf of Nursing Department we are very thankful to Megan for her contribution and dedication. She is truly a huge asset to our department and we really enjoy having her as part of our team!
