Sharon Dixon has been taking care of my daughter E for about 9 months. She is an amazing person and nurse. She makes every day enjoyable for my daughter. She is an excellent caregiver and is very well aware of what E needs and what she is trying to tell us as she is Non-Verbal. She always puts E's needs first and I never have to worry when E is in her care. She is level-headed, does not panic and handles medical emergencies with ease. She is extremely reliable and caring and supportive to the whole family.
We had a rough year and Sharon was a tremendous help with us adjusting to new schedules and adapting to changes in the household. She was helpful with supplying her second home with all of her equipment and supplies and was very attentive to what E would need to make her feel as if she were in her own home.
I can always depend on Sharon to keep up with E's very busy schedule with respiratory treatments, tube feeds and even with her keeping E dry and comfortable with position changes. She goes above and beyond in all aspects of E's care. Not only is she an amazing, attentive, detailed and reliable nurse....she is excellent with E. She sings and dances and "acts silly" because she knows E likes it! The proof is what I see in my daughter's eyes when she looks at Sharon with admiration and security.
