My daughter, G, was experiencing a great amount of anxiety. Lorraine ensured us that she would be available for the CT scan. Thank goodness she was. Lorraine's sharp and keen sense of awareness protected our G. She noticed water coming out of the Broviac line...had she not G would have been in danger.
The next fluid was a radioactive fluid for the CT. She quickly clamped the line. Then another nurse did an IV line and then back to CT in less than 30 minutes. Amazing!
