The Kennestone Outpatient Surgery Center is an awesome professional family-like group of people who love our patients and one another. Over the past 4 months we have had a series of tragic events within our family and have had many changes to our staff especially leadership; our Director, Manager, and our Educator. We have all stepped up and supported one another and continued to deliver world class care to our patients.
Angie Bridges has gone over and above her staff nurse role to ensure our unit functions at top levels. Angie, without questioning, totally picked up payroll/time clock responsibility as well as scheduling for our entire department. She is a liaison, mentor and leader to all of us every day and makes us all better nurses and people every day. She never expects to receive and always gives. Angie is an exemplary team player and leader.
