She was nominated by a patient that she cared for in the PACU. The patient related that she has never left a comment for anyone before but Stephanie went above and beyond anything she could have expected and wanted to share this with her supervisors. "She made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She has an amazing personality and kept me smiling. She was open and honest with me. She even shared personal experiences to help alleviate my fears." What a wonderful Nurse.

Stephanie is a committed employee not only to Piedmont Medical Center but to her coworkers and of course, the patients. She is one of those folks who can establish a rapport with patients seamlessly. The schedule for the Women's Tower PACU requires gumby-like flexibility from the staff and Stephanie is always willing to do whatever is necessary to make sure that our patients are cared for. She is never without a smile on her face and has a wonderful sense of humor (although she says it comes with the third cup of coffee). We are very fortunate to have her as part of our Surgical Services team.
