My son H was admitted to the ER after having multiple seizures. H needed an IV for his treatment. After 3-4 attempts, my son still had no IV and was really shaken up after all of the failed attempts. My wife and I were told that someone from the NICU would be down to try to insert the IV. After a few short minutes, Briana showed up in the ER.
Briana immediately recognized H from his prior stay in the NICU. Briana assured my wife and me that H was in good hands and took control of the situation. Briana was able to insert the IV on the first try and made our son comfortable and happy.
