Karen gave me her full attention all day! She rarely left my side even though she had other patients. She made me feel so comfortable, being 89 and having to be cleaned up. She was just so sweet with me and I felt so safe with her. Her intuition was incredible. She knew what I needed at the perfect time. She showed so much empathy and compassion not only to me but to my wife of 59 years and also to every visitor. She had a great sense of humor which I needed. She made sure all was in perfect order and working properly. She was very tender in nature and profession. She made sure my family was informed of my condition and updated at all times and answered every one of our questions.
My wife has never been away from me our entire marriage and Karen was so comforting that my wife was confident enough to go home and get some sleep. That made me feel so good. I believe God placed her here and provided her to be my "Guardian Angel" for this illness that was so serious and concerning. I do not like hospitals at all but knowing Karen will be back, I don't mind being here and hope she is assigned to me.
