Kendra always gives 110% to her patients. Examples of this are making chocolate milkshakes for them and telling cheesy stories or jokes to try and make them laugh. She is constantly fighting for her patients' needs by doing everything she can on her end to make sure that they have the most comfortable stay possible.
One of my favorite examples was when Kendra had a patient who had passed away. The patient was from Pakistan and a lot of her family was here. Kendra asked the family if there were any ethnic or cultural practices in their country for when this happens. Kendra proceeded to do everything she possibly could to make things happen for them, such as tying the patients hands and feet (a part of the culture) and translating back and forth with all the necessary people. The family was extremely grateful and hugged Kendra.
