I along with my colleagues often refer Nancy for patients on different units who seem to need the extra comfort, warmth and relaxation that Nancy offers. I have observed Nancy on several of her interventions with patients. Patients tell me that not only was it helpful (after being seen by Nancy), but they start to adapt the relaxation techniques that Nancy taught them (guided imagery, breathing, etc.) Nancy also works well with the team. She is always so eager to want to help with patients, especially when they are in so much pain. Nancy's holistic touch is special to many patients and family members and will continue to be extraordinary.
